  • Background Check Information (Drivers): Drivers may submit information during the driver application process, such as driver history, criminal record (where permitted by law), license status, known aliases, prior addresses, and right to work. This information may be collected by authorized Operators on SafeKab‘s behalf.
  • Identity Verification Photos: We may collect photos of users (e.g., selfies) and/or their government-issued identifications (e.g., driver’s license or passports) for identity verification purposes, including through facial verification technologies.
  • Demographic Data: We may collect demographic data, including birth date/age, gender, and household composition, when required for safety features such as the “Women Rider Preference.” We may also collect demographic information, such as age group, through user surveys to offer products and services that match your interests.
  • User Content: Data submitted by users when contacting SafeKab customer support, providing ratings or feedback for other users, or interacting with our services.
  • Travel Information: Travel itinerary information, including flight details, when manually input by users into their SafeKab Travel itinerary.

2. Data Created During Use of Our Services

We also collect data created during the use of our services, including:

  • Location Data (Drivers and Clients): We collect precise or approximate location data from drivers’ and clients’ mobile devices when the SafeKab app is running in the foreground or background. This data is collected from the time a ride or order is requested until it is completed.
  • Location Data (Riders and Order Recipients): We collect precise or approximate location information from riders’ and order recipients’ mobile devices if they enable us to do so via their device settings.
  • Transaction Information: This includes details related to the use of our services, such as the type of services requested or provided, trip or order details (date, time, pick-up and drop-off addresses, distance traveled), payment transaction information, and payment method.
  • Usage Data: We collect data about how users interact with our services, including access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, browser type, and app crashes and other system activity.
  • Device Data: Information about the devices used to access our services, including hardware models, device IP addresses, unique device identifiers, operating systems, software versions, preferred languages, device motion data, and mobile network data.
  • Communications Data: We collect data regarding phone, text, or in-app communications between users enabled through SafeKab‘s apps, including date, time, and the content of text or in-app messages. We may also record phone calls where users are notified in advance of potential recording.
  • Choice and Transparency: Riders and order recipients can choose whether to enable precise location data collection from their mobile devices. However, disabling this feature may affect certain functionalities in the SafeKab It’s important to note that precise location data collected from a driver’s device during a trip is linked to the rider’s account for various purposes, such as receipt generation, customer support, fraud detection, insurance, and litigation.
